Scott Johnson brings an impressive 20 years of driving experience to the team, and the answer to why he got into trucking is simple — he loves to drive. Before this, he ran a forklift. Thomas “Tom” Robinson

Domicile: Jeffersonville, OH

Tom Robinson brings an impressive 30 years of driving experience to the team. Trucking is in his family — his mother and stepfather started a trucking company, and he began driving at 23 years old. Along the way he’s worked in law enforcement, served as a safety director in the trucking industry, and ministered as an evangelist. Preaching and evangelism are his calling, and hunting is how he unwinds. As Tom shares, he’s here for the freedom to preach Jesus from behind the wheel. Chad Ashley-Boerckel brings 9 years of driving experience to the team. His love of the road started young — his uncle and grandpa used to take him along for a couple of weeks between summer breaks. Before trucking, he cooked for a school district and did siding and farming growing up. Off the clock, Chad enjoys cookouts, gardening, gaming, and writing — he pens short stories for his Dungeons & Dragons group. Lelah Hildenbrand

Lelah Hildenbrand brings more than 15 years of driving experience to the team, having gotten into trucking after her uncle talked to her about it. Before this, she worked in cleaning. Off the clock, Lelah likes to play games on her PC, and she dreams of a trip to Colorado. Her favorite road snack is red licorice. IT Service Analyst

We are excited to share that Evan Privett has accepted the position for IT Service Analyst. Evan recently graduated from Monmouth with his degree in computer science and has been working at Rivian in a similar role. His start date will be 7/27/2026. We look forward to bringing him on to Nussbaum.

New Shop Hire

Jacob McReynolds

Diesel Mechanic

Please join us in welcoming Jacob McReynolds, who starts 7/27/26, as a Diesel Technician in the East Shop! Jacob brings real mechanical depth from eight years as a Marine Corps mechanic, where he worked on Humvees, JLTVs, and heavy CAT-powered equipment. He also had the opportunity to supervise a couple of shops and managing maintenance schedules along the way while in the Marines.
Most recently, he worked for a farmer with a 13-truck fleet, maintaining their trucks as well as equipment for some outside customers, until that operation closed this past April.
Help us give him a warm welcome when you see him around! We are looking forward to having him!
