New Hire Drivers

Stephen Walz

Domicile: Aledo, TX

Stephen Walz brings over six years of driving experience to Nussbaum, along with a background that’s hard to top: he’s a retired Navy Chief. The discipline, structure, and ability to thrive far from home that the Navy demanded translate naturally to life on the road. Stephen came to trucking for the consistent work and pay it offers, and he’s ready to put his experience to work as an OTR driver. When he’s home, Stephen is a self-described home body who cherishes family time and church. Stephen would also like to share that he’s honest to a fault and also has never met a stranger. He says he will always to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. Welcome aboard, Stephen!

Kenneth Corbin

Domicile: Cortland, AL

Kenneth Corbin is six months into his trucking career and joining Nussbaum as an Expedited Trainee. Kenneth made a practical move into trucking because of the pay — after years working as a city worker operating equipment and doing concrete and building maintenance. Away from the truck, Kenneth prioritizes family time and his church community. He keeps the energy up with trail mix on the road. Kenneth would like to share that he loves Jesus most of all. Welcome aboard, Kenneth!

Brandon “Logan” Gray

Domicile: Nussbaum

Brandon “Logan” Gray has been driving for 6 years total. Driving big rigs was a childhood dream, and his time as a mechanic in the National Guard gave him hands-on knowledge of heavy equipment before he ever took the CDL test. Now he’s making that dream a reality as part of Nussbaum’s flatbed division. Off the road, Logan is a full-time parent of four, which keeps home time plenty busy. Logan’s go-to road snack is sunflower seeds. Make sure to ask Brandon about his love for dirty sodas. Logan would also like to share to never take him seriously outside of a serious conversation. The only thing he is serious about is having fun. Welcome aboard, Logan!

Zahquan “Zee” Geddes

Domicile: Union City, GA

Zahquan Geddes — known as Zee — was practically born into trucking. His father and grandfather both drove trucks, and watching them over the years planted a seed that never went away. After finishing school, Zee decided to follow in their tire tracks. Now seven months into his commercial driving career, he’s joining Nussbaum on the GE/CAT Georgia float. When he’s off the clock, Zee likes to shop and take time for himself. Zee’s go-to road snack is a solid tuna sandwhich. Zee shares that his communication style is very honest and he is introverted but once you get him out of his shell – he becomes like a comedian. Welcome aboard, Zee!

Retirement opened a new door, and Frankie walked right through it — getting his CDL and stepping into commercial trucking for the first time. Fun fact: Frankie grew up in the US Virgin Islands. He’s bringing the discipline, focus, and dedication from his time on the force straight into the cab. At home, Frankie is a home body who loves spending time with his four puppies. He powers through long hauls with pretzels and italian beef. Fun fact: Frankie is a PADI Dive Instructor and a Technical Diver. Welcome aboard, Frankie!

After taking other roads in life for a stretch, Curtis is back behind the wheel. When he’s off duty, Curtis channels his creativity into writing fiction. Fun fact: he drove for Nussbaum almost 10 years ago! His favorite road snack is a gas station tornado. Welcome aboard, Curtis!

With three decades of road miles behind him, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective to the team. Off the road, Lee loves to ride his Harley and spend time with family and friends. On long hauls, corn chips does the trick for a road snack. Lee would also like to share that he is an easy to get along with person and likes to learn new skills. Welcome aboard, Lee!
