New Hire Drivers
Richie Jones
Domicile: Chattanooga, TN
Richie Jones has been driving just a little bit over one year. He was drawn to the road by his love for traveling and driving. Before driving he was a mechanic. Richie is born and raised in Chattanooga and in his spare time he enjoys working on cars. Richie’s favorite memory on the road was when a deer jumped into his truck while he was cleaning it. If you want to surprise Richie with a road snack, it’ll have to be beef jerky. Lastly, he would like to add that he loves loving on other people – giving whatever brightens others day (hugs, flowers, or candy). He quotes, ‘Love keeps the world running.’ We’re excited for you to brighten others days here at Nussbaum, Richie!
Most interesting load hauled: Crushed diamonds used in jewelery (had a police escort and everything!)

Michael Whitbeck
Domicile: Carbon Cliff, IL
Michael Whitbeck has been driving for almost 3 years. We’re excited for him to join the company. Outside of work he is studying to be a pastor. He is passionate about his faith and is always open to a conversation about God. Welcome to the team, Michael.

Juan Rojas
Domicile: Aurora, IL
Juan Rojas joins Nussbaum with a year of experience. He was inspired to start driving with his desire to be on the move. Before trucking he was a cook! Outside of work he loves playing his guitar. His favorite memory on the road was running his first load to Houston. His ideal road snack is a classic PB&J. Juan wanted to share that he loves rock, blues, and anything with a guitar. We’re glad you’re here, Juan!

Warren Alford
Domicile: Hudson, CO
Warren Alford is super excited to be back at Nussbaum. Since his last time at Nussbaum, he has been a pilot for United Airlines. Feeling the draw back to trucking, Warren made the jump from the plane to the truck. Outside of work, Warren loves riding his motorcycle, flying, and wearing suits (obviously). His favorite memory on the road so far was going out west to Kent Washington because of the amazing mountains. If you ask Warren about his favorite road snack, it’s got to be Twix. Finally, Warren would like to share that he loves dressing up and having a clean truck and says you can call him, “Suits.” Welcome back to Nussbaum, Warren!

New Shop Hire
William Suyko
Diesel Technician
We’re excited to share that William Suyko has accepted the Diesel Technician position in Channahon. William began working on trailers while still in high school where he worked at at Hoffman Transportation. There he gained hands on experience performing PMs, working on disc brakes, suspension components, airbags, axles, and assisting with various diagnostics and body work. He then moved to Estes in September 2025, where he continued building his skills focusing on trailer maintenance, including PMs, follow ups, wheel seals, and minor repairs. He will be developing his mechanical skills further here and jump into learning how to work on trucks up in Channahon. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to having him here.
