Brian Johnson
“I would like to nominate Brian Johnson for an OWNit Moment. Last year, I was having terrible pains in my intestines. I communicated that with Brian, and without question, he brought me to the terminal and got me a ride to the hospital. They could not determine what it was, so Brian got me home to my family doctor who had retired the week before. I then went to the hospital and immediately, they diagnosed me with colon cancer.
I went through an operation and had seven weeks off. Brian made sure that I contacted the right people at Nussbaum for all that I needed. I had doctors’ appointments almost every Friday, and he was phenomenal on getting me home on time, every time.
He then helped me through the second operation that I had to go through and again, made sure I was home every time I needed to be. He stuck with me through everything, and he even lent me an ear to bend when I needed it. He was like the big brother I never had. Thank you, Brian.” – Butch Smogoleski
