Giving you home time control
We really value our drivers’ feedback, and though there are certain constraints in trucking, we wanted to create a win-win situation for our drivers who want consistent home time while keeping our freight running. The solution? The Weekend Promise.
What is the Weekend Promise?
The Weekend Promise is a brand new program designed to get our drivers home on the date you pick. That’s our promise. If we fail, you get $200, automatically added to your paycheck. No need to report it, we will track it and pay it.
What’s different about the promise? When you join, you pick one weekend day (Friday or Saturday) and that becomes your standing home day every week. We build your freight around that date. Guarantee savers will remain in place for the length of time you stay home.
We don’t take the word “promise” lightly, and we want to make OTR easier for our drivers out there.
The Trade-off
During a 6-week pilot group, we learned how much the Weekend Promise would affect truck utilization and profitability. To offset the costs, a driver who joins the program will take a $.03/mile reduction off the base rate and $50 off the weekly guarantee.
How to Join
As we continue to learn how this program impacts our network, we’re opening it up to only 25 spots to start. Once full, additional interested drivers will be placed on a waitlist. Once you join the program, you’re free to leave at any time, but if you leave, you won’t be able to re-join for another 3 months.
