“I’d like to recognize Charlie Griggs for truly living out what it means to ‘own it.’
Over the past several weeks, I’ve been going through a very difficult personal situation as my sister battles a rare form of sarcoma cancer. With multiple surgeries being scheduled and then unexpectedly canceled, it’s been an emotional and stressful time for my family. Her surgery is now scheduled for Tuesday, May 5th, and once again Charlie has stepped up to make sure I can be there for her.
Throughout all of this, Charlie has gone above and beyond in every way. He’s worked with me on time off without hesitation, made sure I was supported on the work side so I could focus on my family when needed, and—just as importantly—has been someone I could talk to when things got heavy.
In an industry where things don’t slow down, his patience, understanding, and genuine care have made all the difference for me. He didn’t just manage loads—he showed real leadership and compassion when it mattered most.
