A Letter of Appreciation from fellow driver, Eric Gibbs
As I’m shut down for the evening from a long day of driving for Nussbaum I appreciate truck drivers for their dedication to transporting goods across the country to suppliers and or individuals. Also, the sometimes hard sacrifices they make to have to be away from family and loved ones. I’ve experienced lots of respect towards one another, as well as helping other truck drivers in need of assistance. Communication and Respect are huge out here.
A Letter of Appreciation from Skullie Midolo, wife of driver Tony Midolo
I would like to submit this photo for my husband John (Tony) Midolo. It’s older, but as they say, a picture is a thousand words. It so happens that I do professional photography on the side. Even though this was taken with a camera phone it has a story behind it. Tony came from Roehl, and we were struggling with him gone so much. He was used to being OTR 4 months at a time or more. He was being treated well at Roehl but our family dynamic was suffering.
We had both sat down and began to look at other companies. Since I do freelance work until I get cleared to go back to work in EMS (I’m still looking at another operation) I freelance photography to get anything extra and it’s not consistent. He got several offers. Nothing fit. We sat down that night and prayed together. His recruiter calls him the longest road to Ohio. We couldn’t be happier with the balance with home life, and the way he is treated as an employee. This is him with his first truck. He still has it now. Not only has this company given him a job but memories our son will never forget since he turned 7 to go on the road with dad. Nussbaum is much more than just a trucking company. Working years in EMS I know he will always come home. This picture is the start of our new beginnings. Thank you for taking the chance with us.
