Unfortunately, when it comes to food, it’s much easier to choose convenience over nutrition – and it usually tastes better too. But in the long run, it takes a toll on our health.

Breakfast: Blueberry-Spinach Protein Smoothie
A quick, easy breakfast choice full of protein! All you need is blueberries, spinach, and a scoop of chocolate-flavored protein powder! Add milk or water to reach desired consistency. Lunch: Southwest Chopped Salad Kit
An easy, fresh lunch option! The greens and toppings are packaged and ready to be emptied into the bowl! Also includes dressing – just add and you’re ready to go! (Not a Southwest fan? Grocery stores typically carry a variety of options!). Found at Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, Hy-Vee, Meijer, and other select retailers (availability may vary by location).

Supper: Salsa Verde Taco Bowl
This one takes a little prep time at home, but gives you EIGHT containers of ready-to-go dinner! It’s a combination of taco meat, rice, corn, tomatoes – all the classics.

Dessert: Easy Banana Ice Cream
Just blend bananas and ice-cream, and you’re all set! Simple, smooth, sweet.

Snack: Apple & Peanut Butter This classic never fails and also packed with protein! Plus, peanut butter is a useful food to keep with you in the truck. One jar can last quite a while, and it’s the perfect add-on for celery, crackers, oatmeal, and bananas.
