The Nussbaum Benevolence Committee hosted our first official event in conjunction with the Midwest Food Bank on Tuesday, October 18. We walked into this not knowing what to expect – would anyone want to sign up? Would there be interest? How would the event itself go?
You guys blew our expectations out of the water! We had planned to have the Midwest Food Bank here till 2pm. At 11:50, we ran out of product and had to shut down early.
In all, we packed a total of 22 boxes – that’s about 880 individual bags, or 3,520 meals! The boxes will be shipped overseas to Ukraine via Convoy of Hope – thanks to you and your efforts. We are so grateful for all of you who played a part and look forward to more events like this in the future.
