Steve Spencer
“On June 27th, an elderly couple was following Steve (up in Michigan) on the highway for a long period of time, and they admired how courteous and law-abiding he was. He always used his turn signals and kept it at the speed limit or below. They thought it was refreshing to see a truck driver drive this way, so they flashed their lights at him to get him to pull over.
When Steve saw this, he thought that there must be something wrong with his truck, so at the first safe place he could find, he pulled over. The couple said that when he got out of the truck, he greeted them smiling and asked if something was wrong. They told him that they just wanted to let him know that good drivers do not get enough thanks for all they do, and they wanted him to know what a great job he was doing.
The gentleman, Tom Denbor, then called me and wanted to thank us as a company for having drivers like Steve representing our company. We had a very good conversation. Tom and his wife both drove over the road together for 25 years and have been retired for a period of time.” – Dale Littlefield
