Josef Blom
Domicile: Heiser Trailer Sales, Inc.
Josef has been driving for around 9 years. He got into trucking because he has always enjoyed driving. He determined the next logical step was to drive a truck while making money. Off the road, he likes to unwind and use his smoker, especially for the 16+ hour briskets. He grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and his ideal road snack is teriyaki beef jerky and string cheese.
Dream vacation: Alaska or anywhere cold
Emory Miller Jr.
Domicile: Flint, MI
Emory comes to Nussbaum with 3 years of driving experience. He started trucking because he wanted to drive trucks since he was a child. He grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, and he enjoys spending time with family and doing music production. His favorite road snacks are all flavors of popcorn and Dot’s Pretzels. His favorite trucking memory was the first time hitting the road. He also shares that he loves reading and studying the Bible, and history. He’s also into music and sports, and he enjoys time with his children.
Dream vacation: Honolulu, Hawaii
Matt Lechler
Domicile: Waco, TX
Matt got into trucking because a close friend asked him to go to an informational meeting. He has now been driving for 8 years. Off the road, he enjoys spending time with family, hunting, and volunteering on his local volunteer fire department. He grew up in Waco, Texas. His ideal road snack is peanut butter and cheese crackers. Matt’s favorite memory from the road was taking his son with him. They went across Kansas as the sun was coming up and his son commented on how beautiful it was. Matt also shares that he loves helping and serving others.

Internal Position Shift
Luke Mittler
We are excited to share that Luke Mittler has accepted the position as Service Manager and will be taking on that responsibility. Luke has been with Nussbaum for just over 3 years. He started out down here at Nussbaum for his first 7 months of training and has been up in Channahon ever since. With some of the transition and moving pieces of Luke, Levi, and looking to backfill Luke, timing is not 100% on the date he will step into the position. Thank you to all those that applied. We have a great group of leaders here, and it is always great to get to know them a little more.
