Ethan Hermacinski has been driving for a year and a half, inspired by his family to pursue a career on the road. Before trucking, he worked in farming around Cambridge and Peoria, Illinois. When he’s not driving, Ethan enjoys hanging out with friends and family. His dream vacation is a trip to Denver, Colorado, and one of his favorite memories is meeting country star Jason Aldean at the I-80 truck stop in Walcott. His favorite snack is candy pecans. Chris Beattie
Chris Beattie has been driving for 20 years, and his reason is simple—he can drive! With a background in just about everything, Christopher hails from Las Vegas and enjoys working when he’s not on the road. His favorite memory is driving with a friend, and he especially enjoys stops at Walmart locations. His go-to snack is apples. Welcome to Nussbaum, Christopher!

Ann Steinhilber
Ann Steinhilber is just starting out in trucking, bringing experience from her previous role as a food service lead at Wally’s. Ann decided to give trucking a try when her brother Austin (who also works at Nussbaum 😊) suggested it at the right time. Originally from Flanagan, Illinois, Ann is excited to hit the road and explore new places. Her dream vacation is a trip to Italy, and her favorite road snack is beef jerky. Welcome to Nussbaum, Ann!

David Williams
David Williams has been driving for 11 months, drawn to the road by a love of travel. Before trucking, he worked as a supervisor for Sherwin-Williams. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David enjoys BBQ, exercising, and working on investments. His dream vacation is somewhere in the UK, and one of his favorite memories is driving into Chicago at night and seeing the city lights. His current favorite snack is chips, and he hopes to one day own a motorhome and travel the country. Welcome to Nussbaum, David!

Ricky Palang-at
Ricky Palang-at is one month into his trucking journey, making a career change driven by his passion for driving. Originally from the Philippines, Ricky previously worked as office staff and a tour driver. He enjoys watching movies and DIY projects in his free time. His dream vacation is Switzerland, and one of his favorite moments so far was seeing a double rainbow. His favorite snack is crunchy apples, and he describes himself as easygoing and friendly. Paul Matthew
Paul Matthew has been driving for 30 years, transitioning from house painting in search of a steadier income. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids and staying active. His dream vacation is a trip to Glacier National Park, and one of his favorite memories is watching fireworks on the 4th of July in Roswell, New Mexico. His favorite road snack is Crunch ‘n Munch. Elle Sauder
Driver Hiring Manager
Very thankful to share Elle Sauder has agreed to join Nussbaum as a Driver Hiring Manager. Elle has been selling cars at Lighthouse Buick GMC for the last couple years and has loved the interactions and helping her customers. Selling cars isn’t identical to hiring drivers but many of the same strengths are needed. So, we are very excited to put her strong sales and people skills to use in the world of driver recruiting! Charles Griggs
Driver Manager
We are excited to share that Charles Griggs has accepted a position as a Driver Manager and will be starting with Nussbaum on 9/8/2025. When we were interviewing for the last DM position, we had many great candidates. Charles has spent the last few years working as a security guard at a large hospital in Louisiana. He has quite the stories if you ever get time to ask him 😊. He and his wife recently moved up to the Eureka area, and he has been looking for a company to get started with.
