Brian Kirk

Brian has been driving for 3 years after looking for a career change. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and he enjoys fishing and hunting when off the road. Brian’s favorite memory from the road was seeing the Statue of Liberty. His ideal road snack is jerky, preferably venison. Brian shares that he lives in Kentucky but will always be a Buckeye. Ohio State is his favorite college team.
Dream vacation: Ireland and Scotland
Charles “Joseph” Doan
Domicile: Georgetown, KY
Joseph comes to Nussbaum as a new driver. He has wanted to be a trucker since seeing Big Pete’s on the road as a kid. Off the road, Joseph enjoys reading, watching baseball, meditation, and talking to his family. He grew up in Jackson and Berea, Kentucky. Joseph’s favorite memory from the road was driving through the Cascades in Idaho behind a salt truck. His ideal road snacks are nuts and granola bars. He also shares that his sons, Krispin and Gavin, are his pride and joy.

Joseph “Joe” Mendoza

Joe is a recent trucking academy graduate and has been driving for 2 months. He was born and raised in Hammond, Indiana. He then moved to Merrillville, Indiana for about 12 years. He got into trucking so he could be on the road and see the country. Joe’s favorite memory from the road was visiting Santa Monica, California, while doing expediting work. He says, “It was a beautiful area, and I was able to see an ocean for the very first time after 45 years of being alive.” His ideal road snacks are cashews and peanuts. While off the road, he spends time with his wife and their 3 cats. He also looks for new things to learn and to better himself on a daily basis. Joe also shares that he is an animal lover.

Brennen Risinger
Domicile: Nussbaum
Brennen has been driving for 2 years and got into trucking because most of his past careers involved driving, so he decided to take it to the next level. Brennen grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and his favorite memory from the road was seeing Las Vegas in person. His favorite road snack is Doritos. Off the road, Brennen enjoys his PS5, Nintendo Switch, watching YouTube and streaming sites, and spending time with his wife. Brennen also shares that he loves the cold.

Russell Hillman
Domicile: Nussbaum
Russ has been driving for about 2.5 years. He wanted to get out of the corporate grind, so he began trucking. Russ grew up in Washington, Illinois, and he enjoys spending time with his grandkids and working around the house for his wife. His favorite road snack is apples. Russ’s favorite memory from the road was driving through the Rocky Mountains.
Dream vacation: The beach, every year.
James “Jimmy” Frazier
Domicile: Waco, TX
Jimmy was looking for a career change during Covid, and so he began trucking. He has been driving now for 3 years and 9 months. Off the road, Jimmy spends time with his wife and kids. He grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana, and his ideal road snack is corn nuts. Jimmy’s favorite memory from the road was the first time he saw Montana. He also shares that he enjoys experiencing good food and finding great stops OTR for good food.
Dream vacation: Anywhere with family
Youssouf Seghir
Domicile: GE Perryville
Youssouf grew up in Africa, and he began driving for a career change. Off the road, he spends time with family and plays soccer. His favorite memory from the road was his debut. His ideal road snack is plantain chips. Youssouf also shares, “I am mixed, from different races and from different places; something that I am really proud of. Before trucking I was working in the Human Resources field. I travelled in different places in the world.”
