Matt Schurman

Matt Schurman is a new driver who was inspired to join Nussbaum after speaking with several of our drivers over the past three years. He previously worked in CAT security and is from Pekin, IL. In his free time, Matt enjoys reading, writing, playing video games, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. His favorite road snack is hickory smoked beef jerky. Zachary Atchison

Zachary Atchison has been driving for 6 months, looking to break out of the typical factory setting. He previously worked in welding and is from Bedford, Indiana. Exavion Latham has been driving for 3 years, drawn to the freedom and financial opportunity of trucking. He previously worked in Amazon facilities and package delivery and is from the south suburbs of Chicago. When he’s not on the road, he enjoys relaxing and watching The Office. One of his favorite memories is when kids do the arm pump to get him to blow the air horn—something he loved doing as a kid and still does today. His favorite snack is Chomps jalapeño beef sticks. Michael Gondek
Domicile: Riverton, IL
Michael Gondek has been driving for 4 years, having worked in a wide range of hands-on roles including pipeline work, tree removal, horse training, solar fields, and union carpentry. He’s from Petersburg, IL, and enjoys being involved in his kids’ activities. One of his favorite memories is randomly parking next to two people he knew. His favorite road snack? Free food! Dillion Leonard
Domicile: Terre Haute, IN
Dillon Leonard is back from a 7 month break from Nussbaum. He was working as a conductor and engineer for the Indiana Railroad. He is ready to get back into the truck and excited to be at Nussbaum again. Dillon has been driving for a year and a half, following in the footsteps of his dad, who’s been in the industry since before Dillon was born. Outside of work, Dillon enjoys racing at the drag strip, working on his truck, and relaxing at home. A favorite memory is running a load to Georgia with his dad—they got to drive together all week. While he’d love to say Reese’s is his favorite snack, he’s working on making healthier choices. Welcome back to Nussbaum, Dillon!
