Deadrick Mayberry has been driving for 3 years, inspired by his older brother. He grew up in Memphis, TN, and enjoys going to the gym when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories is driving through the mountains. Fun fact about Mayberry is that during college he was a running back for the University of Tennessee. Welcome to Nussbaum, Deadrick!

Dream Vacation: Fiji Island

David Means

Domicile: Indianapolis, IN

David Means has been driving for about 11 years. He grew up in North Charleston, S.C., and enjoys doing house chores, spending time with family and friends, and working on his cars when he’s not on the road. He enjoys seeing different landscapes while driving. David has 18 years of military experience (9 years active and 9 years National Guard) and has also worked as a diesel mechanic for 5.5 years. Dream Vacation: Hawaii

Gene LaDuke

Domicile: Indianapolis, IN

Gene LaDuke has been driving for 28 years, choosing to serve his country by delivering goods to people after he couldn’t get into the military. He grew up in Oregon and enjoys fishing, camping, and taking care of his goats when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories is when he met his wife. Gene’s ideal road snack is steak jerky. Gene describes himself as headstrong but also likes helping people when they need help. He also would like to mention that he is a Taurus. Welcome to Nussbaum, Gene!

Dream Vacation: A big lake with lots of fish

Anthony Simington

Domicile: Alsip, IL

Anthony Simington has been driving for over 20 years, enjoying the independence of the job. He grew up in Robbins, IL, and enjoys racing RC cars, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories while driving is when a military Chinook helicopter flew over him at a low altitude, and he waved up at the pilot, who gave him a thumbs up. Anthony’s ideal road snack is white chocolate-covered grapes. Welcome to Nussbaum, Anthony!

Dream Vacation: Nurburgring race track in Germany

LaTanya Taylor

Domicile: Rochester, IN

LaTanya Taylor is a new driver who got into trucking for her love of driving and travel. She grew up on the South Side of Chicago, Illinois, and runs a non-profit prison ministry called My Father’s House when she’s not on the road. She loves seeing God’s work of art through early morning travel and enjoys ice as her ideal road snack. LaTanya loves her family and her King, and she and her husband have been married for almost 40 years. They have four amazing children and eight fantastically gifted grandbabies. Matt Haton

Domicile: Danville, IL

Matt Haton has been driving for 6 years, motivated by his desire to see the country. He grew up in Georgetown, IL, and enjoys woodworking and laser engraving and cutting when he’s not on the road. His favorite memories are anytime his wife or kids are with him. Matt’s ideal road snack is beef jerky. He is a rehire who previously worked at Nussbaum for 6 years and is excited to be back. Dustin Huber

We are excited to share that Dustin Huber has accepted the position of Director of Business Analytics! Dustin has been with Nussbaum for the last 1.5 years and we look forward to seeing him grow in this new position. At this point, there is no plan to backfill Dustin’s position in Business Analytics, but with any changes, we will be sure to keep you posted. Congrats, Dustin!
