Sherrie Lester
Domicile: Glen Elyn, IL
Sherrie comes to Nussbaum as a first-time driver. It was her desire for freedom, adventure, and doing something new that interested her about trucking. She grew up on the south side of Chicago and enjoys crafting, travel, camping, fishing, and adventure when not on the road. Her ideal road snack is smoothies. Sherrie’s favorite memories from the road are always the scenery, such as sunrises, sunsets, mountains, and waterfalls.
Dream vacation: Everywhere the wind blows me!
Zachery “Zach” Clouse
Domicile: Huntington, IN
Zach was looking for more of a family-friendly career when he got into trucking. He has now been driving for less than a year. When not on the road, Zach enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys. He moved a lot when he was younger, but primarily grew up in Indiana. His favorite road snacks are beef jerky and saltines. His favorite memories from the road are meeting up with his former classmates and online friends to play cards or grab dinner. Zach also has this to share: “Previous to trucking, I worked as a critical care EMT for a mobile intensive care unit for 5 years, while also working 911 for almost 4 years. Healthcare was my passion, but the industry wasn’t kind towards its workers. It’s nice coming to an industry with such a stark contrast when the other work field takes care of people.”
Dream vacation: I’d like to take my wife to the Dominican Republic.
Matthew “Matt” Boers
Domicile: Stow, OH
Matt has been driving for 7 years, and he got into trucking for higher pay. He grew up in Cleveland, OH, and his favorite road snack is beef jerky. When not on the road, Matt just desires to be back on the road or visiting other countries.
Dream vacation: Hot air balloon ride over Egypt

New Office Hires
Landon Scott
Landon Scott has accepted a position with Nussbaum and will be starting with us on 4/29/2024. He will be working the summer as a Detailer as well as helping in other areas that the shop will see as a need. He graduates from high school this May and is in the phase of figuring out what is next. He has enjoyed the tech side of things, so we are hoping that working in the shop will give him a good feel for what that would look like long term. We look forward to having Landon join us this summer.
Lincoln Steidinger
Lincoln Steidinger will be starting with us on Tuesday, April 30th as an Accounting Intern. This May he will be finishing up his associates degree and will be looking to start at ISU to finish his bachelors. He is planning to work the entire summer, and then the hope would be to work a few hours during the junior year at ISU.
