Ebony Roberts-Cook
Domicile: Nussbaum
Ebony is new to the trucking industry; she acquired her CDL in September of 2023. Ebony got into the trucking industry by going through Nussbaum’s Trucking Academy because she was wanting to transition out of the Hospitality industry, which she had been in for over 13 years. She loves to travel, so trucking made sense for her lifestyle. She grew up in Chicago, IL and when not on the road, she enjoys traveling and trying new things with her husband. Her ideal road snack is grapes or fresh fruit. Ebony also shares that her and her husband are renovating a 1995 Winnebago RV.
Dream vacation: Maldives
D’Mitri Frazelle
Domicile: Grand Prairie, TX
D’Mitri comes to Nussbaum with 5 years of driving experience. He got into driving because he loves the open road, the scenery, and the different people he comes in contact with. He grew up in Irving, TX and when not on the road, he enjoys being with his kids. His son, D’Mitri II, is 17 and his daughter, D’Naviah, is 14. They go on a lot of mini adventures in Dallas, TX, and they travel to different countries frequently. D’Mitri also loves the gym and working on his classic car, which is a 1966 Toronado Oldsmobile. His ideal road snack is strawberries. His favorite memory from being on the road is smelling the grass the morning after it rains. He says it smells like new beginnings.

Kerry Reed
Domicile: Zion, IL
Kerry has 6 months of driving experience. He got into trucking because he was ready for a new change. Kerry’s favorite road memory was watching the sunrise and sunset along with the mountains. He enjoys going to the gym and reading books when not on the road. He grew up in Waukegan, IL, and his ideal road snack is fruit. Kerry also shares that he loves to meet new people and network with people, but family is most important to him.

Dillon Leonard
Domicile: Terre Haute, IN
Dillon has 6 months of trucking experience, and he got into trucking because of his dad. Dillon grew up in Houston, Texas and enjoys hanging out with friends, working on his truck, and going to racing events and car meets when not on the road. His ideal road snack is a King Size Reese’s. Dillon says he does not have very many favorite road memories yet, but he did enjoy seeing his dad and getting to talk to him about the job now that they do the same thing.

Duston Myers
Domicile: Knoxville, TN
Duston comes to Nussbaum with 7 months of trucking experience. He got into trucking because of memories of his late grandfather, and the need for purpose. Duston grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and when not on the road, he likes to play games, make music, and play the piano. His favorite memory from the road was stopping off on a load to see the Grand Canyon. He says, “It was an unbelievable sight and truly put into perspective how large and beautiful our world is.” Duston’s ideal road snack is gum. He also shares, “I am very comfortable to myself, but I am an open person and easy to get along with. I look forward to developing connections with new people and making lasting memories.”

Ryan Heinrich
Domicile: Nussbaum
Ryan just started driving because trucking has always been something that he wanted to do. He was able to attend the Nussbaum Trucking Academy and had a fantastic experience. Ryan was born in PA and moved to IL after college. When not on the road, he enjoys playing video games with his family, as well as hiking and exploring outdoors.
