Timothy “Herbie” Hovick
Domicile: Des Moines, IA
Herbie has been driving for 7 months. He was excited to get his CDL so he could drive anything he wanted. He grew up in central Iowa, and when not on the road he enjoys anything to do with racing; from driving to watching and working on racecars.
Dream vacation: Travel to all the Nascar tracks.
Luis Correa
Domicile: Chicago area
Luis has been driving for 24 years. He enjoys movies and cycling when not on the road. He grew up in Colombia and got into trucking for more independence and higher pay. Luis’s favorite memory from the road was a time where he got a good view of the mountains. His ideal road snack is chicken salad.
Dream vacation: Europe
Ron Hallett
Domicile: Papillion, NE
Ron comes to Nussbaum with 8 years of driving experience, and he got into trucking because he likes to drive. Ron likes spending time with family when not on the road, and he grew up in southern California. His favorite memory from the road was when he rode with his wife and dog for 2 weeks. His ideal road snack is grapes. Ron also shares that he is a life-long Dodgers fan.

Bryce Brenneman
Domicile: Marion, IA
Bryce has been driving since 2020. When asked what got him into trucking, Bryce says, “I’ve always been around it, but I blame the movies ‘Smokey and The Bandit’ and ‘Convoy.'” He grew up in eastern Iowa, and when not on the road he enjoys being active in his church and local volunteer fire department. Bryce’s favorite trucking memories are when he has met his other driving friends out on the road. His favorite road snack is anything that’s healthy! Bryce also says, “I’m a really old soul so I love all the classic things in life.”

Sunny Rapier
Domicile: Carbon Cliff, IL
Sunny has been driving for 5 years. She got into trucking because she used to do community service in a federally funded program called AmeriCorps NCCC, so she traveled and did community service for 4 years. She wanted a job that would allow her to travel and be on the move constantly. Truck driving was a perfect fit. Sunny grew up in Morganfield, Kentucky and when not on the road she enjoys playing video games, learning new musical instruments, and walking her dog. Her favorite memories from the road are meeting with trucking buddies.
Dream vacation: Anywhere with mountains, and crystal blue water.
Bernie Meisinger
Domicile: Youngstown, OH
Bernie is brand new to the trucking industry. He got into trucking because he has always been interested, and because of his family and friends. Bernie grew up in Pennsylvania and when not on the road, he enjoys home restoration. His favorite road snacks are nuts, pretzels, and water. He also shares that he is a singer, actor, and published songwriter.
Dream vacation: Germany
John Vongdaraxay
Domicile: Fairburn, GA
John has been driving for 12 years and got into it because he saw it as a great way to provide for his family. He grew up in Murfreesboro, TN and he enjoys fishing when not on the road. John’s favorite road memories have come from meeting all types of people. His favorite road snack is beef jerky. John also wants to share that he is a veteran. He served in the Marines from 2006-2010.

Greg Allen
Domicile: Pittsburgh, PA
Greg has been driving for 2 years and got into trucking because he longed for a career change. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and enjoys walking his dog and watching TV when not on the road. Greg’s favorite road snacks are flavored pretzels and coffee. He also shares that he is very easy going.
