Jason Weedman is a new driver who made a career change. He grew up in Galesburg, IL, and enjoys spending time with his son, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors when he’s not on the road. His favorite memories are trips with his son. Jason’s ideal road snack is peanuts. He loves the Lord and practices his faith, making him a great fit for Nussbaum.

Garrett Thiessen
Domicile: DeForest, WI
Garrett Thiessen is new to the industry, having joined due to a reduction in hours available through his previous employer and his immense interest in traveling the country. He grew up in Portage, WI, and is a fan of NASCAR and motorsports in general. He loves exploring new places and learning the history of places and items. Garrett’s ideal road snack is vegetables. He is married with three children, a house full of pets, and a new puppy coming this month. Garrett is excited to start his journey with Nussbaum.

Austin Steinhilber
Domicile: Nussbaum
Austin Steinhilber has been driving for just about 8 years, inspired by his dad, who was an OTR driver. He grew up in Flanagan, Illinois, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, and playing Magic: The Gathering when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories is delivering into the Upper Peninsula of Michigan during the fall with the leaves changing. Austin’s ideal road snack is teriyaki beef jerky. He is a big talker and is always reachable by phone. Austin is looking forward to joining Nussbaum.

New Office Hires
Colby Law
We are happy to share we have filled the second of our two Accounting Specialist positions! Colby Law has accepted the position and will be starting with us Monday, 2/10/2025. Colby went to college at Taylor University for Psychology. Colby has a variety of experience, including time as a Teller with First State Bank of Bloomington as well as bookkeeping, librarian, and inventory work and more with a ministry-based thrift store in her hometown, Heyworth. Colby loves to read and her favorite fiction book is What the River Knows by Isabel Ibanez. If Colby had a completely free Saturday, she would spend it reading and spending time with family. Fun fact about Colby is that she used to play the Violin as a child. She is excited to be at Nussbaum.
