He grew up in the Quad Cities and enjoys spending time with his family and going on road trips when he’s not on the road. His dream vacation destination is Thailand. One of his favorite memories is trucking with his uncle when he trained him to get his CDL. Having spent his whole life traveling between trucking and the oilfield, Elijah loves the lifestyle and feels it’s in his blood. One day, he dreams of traveling the country with his wife and living on the road together.

Dawn Rhodes
Domicile: St. Louis, MO
Dawn Rhodes has been driving for 6 years, seeking more freedom over her personal and financial future. She grew up in San Diego and enjoys traveling, spiritual study, watching comedies, and cooking when she’s not on the road. Her dream vacation destinations are Switzerland and Austria. One of her favorite memories is seeing the red rock mountains in New Mexico. Dawn hopes to make Nussbaum her last trucking company, in a good way.

James “Jay” Neloms
Domicile: Akron, OH
Jay has been driving for over 8 years. He grew up in Akron, OH and outside of work he likes to ride his motorcycle and restore his antique car. What attracted Jay to the trucking industry was the pay and independence.
Gary Kellam
Domicile: Atlanta, GA
Gary Kellam has been driving for 17 years, having started trucking to try something new. He grew up in Atlanta, GA, and when he’s not on the road, he enjoys relaxing and spending time with his kids. His dream vacation is somewhere he can relax without phone service and without being bothered. Although he doesn’t have a specific favorite memory on the road, he cherishes the peaceful moments he experiences.

Brandon Alexandar
Domicile: Sioux Falls, SD
Brandon Alexander has been driving for 1 year, motivated by a desire to get away from lazy young employees in different industries. He grew up in Arizona and enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his son, and studying extra when he’s not on the road. His dream vacation destination is Deadwood, South Dakota. One of his favorite memories is kids asking him to blow his air horn on the truck and having his ex-girlfriend in the passenger seat. Brandon loves language and math, and he’s always game to discuss great music, especially Journey and Air Supply.

Paul Judson
Domicile: Kenosha, WI
Paul Judson has been driving for 7 years, having transitioned to a CDL A after holding a CDL B for 26 years. He grew up in Rockford, IL, and enjoys spending time with family and friends when he’s not on the road. His dream is to visit several countries in Africa. One of his favorite aspects of trucking is meeting good people along the way. Paul is also a movie and game buff.

Marshawn is excited to be back at Nussbaum after a short stint away. He has been driving for 3 years, motivated by a desire to travel. He grew up in Danville, IL, and when he’s not on the road, he loves to barbecue. His dream vacation destination is Dubai. One of his favorite memories is his first time visiting the I-80 truck stop.
