Asghar Ali
Domicile: Elgin, IL
Ali has been driving for 4.5 years. The challenges and adventure sightseeing aspect of driving drew him to the road. Ali grew up in South Asia, later moved to Australia, and has spent the last 5 years in the US. Ali loves cooking in his time off the road. Ali’s dream trip is to visit Turkey and Switzerland. His favorite rest stop has been the Pontiac, IL rest area.
Favorite Road Snack: Trail mix and chewing gum.
Brian Frank
Domicile: Champaign, IL
Brian has been driving for the last four years. He got into trucking after exploring other jobs. The opportunity to work by himself is really what drew him to it. He grew up in Rockville, Indiana. Off the road, Brian enjoys watching movies and reading books. He’s a coffee lover ☕ When he’s home, he spends time with his wife and their fur babies. His dream trip is anywhere outside of the Midwest. If you have the chance, ask Brian about the story of when he almost ran out of fuel in Northern Michigan.
Favorite road snack: Anything easy to eat while driving.
Chris Blake
Domicile: TBD
Chris has been driving for 10 years! He’s always been interested in trucks since a kid. He grew up in Vassar, Mi. Outside of work he enjoys playing video games and fishing, hiking, and working on his uncle’s farm. If Chris could travel anywhere, he would take a trip back to Germany and Austria. He has been there once and would definitely go back.
Favorite road snack: Trail Mix.
Dishon Bess
Domicile: Dupont, PA
Dishon has been driving for two years. He got into trucking because he wanted to do something different and exciting. He also genuinely enjoys operating big machinery. If he could have his dream vacation, he would go to Oistin, Barbados.
Jason Sigler
Domicile: Canton, OH
Jason is new to the truck driving industry and excited to get behind the wheel! Driving a truck was always a bucket list item, so he saw an opportunity to go to school after he was laid off. Jason fell in love with driving and decided not to go back into software developing. He grew up in Canton, Oh and later went to Arizona State. Outside of work he enjoys time with family and exploring the best food around his state. If he could travel anywhere, he would visit Alaska.
New Hire Office
We are excited to welcome some new office employees this week also.
Chris Mendoza
We are excited that Chris Mendoza has accepted the Driver Manager position. Over the years, Chris has spent time as a UPS delivery driver, Service tech/route driver for Culligan, and has recently been spending time in the sales world. We are excited to be adding him on to the Nussbaum team.
Jeremy Fox
Jeremy Fox will be taking on our Channahon Service Writer position. Jeremy has spent time in the labor field as well as working as a terminal operator for Holcim in Chicago before making the change to the trucking world. While working, he decided to go back to school to be a diesel technician, and once he completed his degree, began working in the field. He enjoyed the work, but the hours (night shift), took a hit on him and his family. He saw our job posting and thought it would be a good mix of his diesel tech work and office experience. We are excited to have him join our team!
Will Pearson
Will Pearson will be taking an IT Intern position. Will is currently at ISU going for a degree in Computer systems technology with the plan of graduating in December of 2024. He’s down to his last 2 semesters! He started with us on 11/28/2023, and we are excited for him to learn more about Nussbaum and how our IT Department and company stand above the rest 😊
