John Mota is joining the Nussbaum team with five years of driving experience! Originally from Chicago, he made the switch to trucking from a background in real estate investing. When he’s not on the road, John enjoys reading and exploring new investment opportunities. His dream vacation is a trip to Cancun, and his go-to road snack is a classic—donuts. Kurtis Allie
Kurtis Allie comes to Nussbaum with one year of driving experience and a family legacy—his father inspired him to pursue trucking. He’s from Wolcott, Indiana, and enjoys spending time with his nephews when he’s home. His dream destination is the Bahamas, and he’ll never forget the experience of driving through the mountains in Virginia. His favorite snack? Roller dogs. Welcome aboard, Kurtis!

James Pirtle
Let’s welcome James Pirtle to Nussbaum! He’s just starting his trucking journey after being inspired by conversations with drivers while working at a loading dock. James is from the Washington, D.C. area and enjoys spending time with his family and three cats. He’s a fan of sports, gaming, and movies. His dream vacation is Venice, and his favorite snack is Cool Ranch Doritos. We’re glad to have you, James!

Brahim Hazig
Brahim Hazig is bringing his passion for driving to Nussbaum with 10 months of experience. Originally from France, he previously worked as a crane operator. When he’s not on the road, Brahim enjoys spending time with his family. His dream vacation is New Zealand, and he loves meeting new people along the way. His favorite snack? Naf Naf. Justin Jarvi
Justin Jarvi joins Nussbaum with nine years of experience behind the wheel. He transitioned into trucking after a special assignment as a supervisor at UPS showed him the freedom of the open road. From Rockford, Illinois, Justin enjoys traveling and camping with his family in their RV. His daughter’s basketball schedule keeps him on his toes! His dream vacation is Thailand, and his favorite road snacks are veggies with hummus or mixed nuts. Welcome, Justin!

Mark Dotterer
Driver Manager
We are excited to share that Mark Dotterer has accepted the position for Float Driver Manager and will be starting on 10/1/2025. For 20 years, Mark worked as a 7th/8th grade teacher and Assistant Principal at Metamora Grade school. 4 years ago he decided to get out of the school industry and found his way to Braker’s Market working as a store manager. We are excited to be bringing him in to this role and look forward to what he can contribute to the team. Thank you all for the work in making Nussbaum a desired place to work.
Austin Knobloch
Senior UX/UI Designer
It is exciting that we get to start sharing some updates that we have for Nussbaum Tech. Austin Knobloch has officially accepted the position for Senior UX/UI Designer. Austin has spent the past couple of years working with Employeeinsite as a designer and before that spent 6 years working at Samaritan Ministries. We are looking forward to bringing him on to the Nussbaum Tech side and using his experience to help grow the new product. Austin will be looking to start with Nussbaum Tech on 10/8/2025.
Abraham Guo
Senior Software Engineer
We are thrilled that Abraham Guo has accepted the role of Senior Software Engineer and will be starting with Nussbaum Tech on 10/8/2025, same day as Austin. Abraham started his Career with Creative Sites Media who was bought by Precision Planting 4 years ago. In short, he has been with Precision for the past 12 years as an intern while he went through college and then started full time in 2018 when he graduated. We are looking forward to adding him to the team along side Tyler and Austin and seeing what they can do!!
