The Care of Good Business

I wanted to share the kindness of the General Manager, Terry Stalsberg, of Holiday Inn. I was put up at the hotel when my truck was in the shop for extensive maintenance. Mr. Stalsberg checked me in and helped me set up a rewards account so I, as the driver, could also earn rewards each time Nussbaum puts me up.

The next day I realized my Kindle Notebook was missing. This Kindle serves as both my trucking notebook and my Bible so it is pretty important to me. I took a long shot and reached out to the hotel and Terry picked up the phone and said he found it at the breakfast table. I quickly explained that getting there will take some doing…but before I could complete the thought, Terry interrupted and said no worries I’ll bring it over myself. Within a few minutes, I was reunited with one of my most prized possessions while on the road. I know we do a lot of business with them but felt this action was motivated by integrity more than business.
