Grace Has Wheels || Bolingbrook, IL

While traveling recently with my family, pets included, I found myself reflecting on the journey we’ve been on. Today is our 32nd wedding anniversary. Life has taken us in many directions, especially as parents of young adults on the autism spectrum. I stepped away from a full-time teaching career to become an advocate, educator, and caregiver. It has been a path filled with both challenges and deep meaning.

As we packed for our trip, tensions ran high, as they often do in the midst of chaos. Once we were on the road, your truck passed us going the opposite direction.

I had to Google. I thought “how bold.” It was a message I needed, as were all the ones you had on your page. If Faith could move mountains so can trucks. I sent your link to friends. I will continue to pray for guidance and hope, but I also pray to see more of your trucks to remind me that I am not alone in some of the darkest moments.

Hope for the Weary || Carlisle, IL

Woke up this morning and looked out my bedroom window and saw one of the trucks drive by that said, “There is hope in troubled times” I was like wow that’s awesome!! I went and told my kids. As a Christian and a single mom I get down sometimes and when I saw this I was like, “Thank you Lord for reminding me of your faithfulness.” What a light in the darkness!!!
