Anthony’s Thanksgiving Surprise
While parked in the back lot of a shipping facility, Anthony Davis heard faint clucking noises coming out of the wooded area next to the lot. What could it be? He started calling back, and a turkey came out of the woods and wandered right up to his truck! The turkey was very curious to figure out what this giant red creature could be and began poking around Anthony’s truck to see what the hubbub was all about.
Aside from turkeys (on your Thanksgiving table or beside your truck!), there are so many reasons to be thankful in this holiday season. Just to name a few: our new hires each week, having the capacity to continue doing business during a freight market recession, every mile that is safely driven, receiving the Transportation Supplier of the Year Award from CAT … and we could go on.
As Jim Revelle says…
The best way to get rid of grumbling and complaining is thankfulness.
It can be easy to find something to complain about, but when we begin looking for the good, we find all the ways we have been blessed physically, materially, and spiritually. All the minute details have been worked out. Even in the challenges, there is something to be thankful for. Let’s count our blessings together.
