Thank You, Mr. Holly!
Garry has driven for 35 years and has been with Nussbaum for close to 17 years! We are congratulating him on his retirement scheduled for July 12th. He plans to knock out a “to-do” list around the house, spoil his grandchildren, and get a part-time job to keep himself busy (and not drive his family nuts at home). Thank you Garry for your faithful years with Nussbaum! We wish you a joyful retirement!

Garry loves to ring the bell at our window in the shop office – like LOVES it – rings it over and over and over again and we always know who’s at the window without looking. One evening, around 5:30 or so, he came through and we saw him coming so one of the guys tried closing the window all but about 2-3 inches so that we could still talk to Garry while keeping him from accessing the bell. He was able to maneuver his hand in the space left open and around the corner to ring the bell as he always did. Of course, he was just laughing his tail off about it. 😊
He also enjoys coming up to the side window next to my desk and scaring me to death. He knocks on the window, I jump, and he laughs hysterically. 😊

A week ago, I was sitting in my truck at the Hudson terminal. I had just been seated on my truck as a solo driver. I was about to meet the man of the hour…
My windows were down, I was jotting a “Thank You” note card, minding my own business, when suddenly Garry jumped up on the passenger’s side with a bloodcurdling shriek and a squall, causing me to scream out a loud shrill. I was sure I set off security cameras. 🤣😂
We laughed so hard. This man was hanging onto the side of my truck, clutching his fingers on the door like a crazed mad man squealing. Oh, he pranked me real GoOd.🤭🤗 I am one who appreciates a funny prank, improv, or good humor.
He told me he was retiring and welcomed me to Nussbaum, that they call him “Holly Jolly.”
