Those of you who have been at Nussbaum more than one year recall that we implemented a new position called a Fleet Manager last August. The role was designed to help us split up the daily tasks of the driver manager and divide up the workload.
While that change has been positive in certain ways, it has also caused some overlap and frustration. We have decided to retire the fleet manager role effective June 27, 2021.
What Does This Mean?
Most of you will either keep your current driver manager or go back to your previous driver manager’s team. The felt effects of this change should be pretty minimal.
Those of you who will be joining a completely new driver manager team will be communicated with individually in the next few days.
Thank You
Thank you for all your continued patience as we try to deliver the best driver experience we can to you. This change should help make your driver manager a more direct contact and complete source of the information that you need.
