ESOP Month 2025 Recap

What does it mean to be an Employee-Owner? It means you take pride in your work. It means your everyday actions impact those around you. It means you get to celebrate Employee-Ownership month every October!

This year, we had a lot of fun celebrating and reflecting on being an ESOP. From Pie Day to the ESOP Games to the annual Jeopardy, the month was filled with time spent with our fellow owners. Join us as we go on a journey through the month (in photos)!

Week 1 kicked off with a Dashboard Radio episode hyping everyone up and talking through the events of the month (and there may have been a fun hype video included). Featuring committee members Chris Smith, Neil Barbour, and Caleb Gee.

Week 2 brought ESOP Jeopardy. The host cancelled out and then amazingly agreed to come back! Chris Smith brought the crazy introductions, and everyone brought their A-games!

The enthusiastic audience!
Final Jeopardy got sticky when the Final Question raised some questions on technicalities.
IT for the win! They had the study guide nailed down and aced the victory.

Week 3 brought the all-new ESOP Games. While they weren’t necessarily ESOP-educational, they WERE a great team-building experience and opportunity to connect and laugh and get to know our fellow owners from different departments.

A test of true dedication (and not breathing too hard!)
Winners of the ESOP Games! From L-R: Mark Dotterer (Ops), Charlie Griggs (Ops), Greta Knudson (Safety), Josh Strating (Ops)

Week 4 included the annual ESOP Breakfast, complete with Eggs, Sausage, Orange Juice, and Pancakes.

Maintenance is never done.

Week 5 (and the final week of ESOP Month!) wrapped up with Pie Day! This year, we included a spin wheel (answer an ESOP question and spin the wheel for a prize!)

Month-long, drivers participated in trivia (the top two answers won: Drew Bladzik and Fernando Arellano), Dashboard Radio prizes, FAQ questions, and a submit-to-win option (if you send in a video or comment on what it means to be an employee-owner, you win a prize)

Thanks for following along as we reflected on one of our favorite months of the year. Remember to own it every moment and stay purpose driven!
