Caution: Safety Update
February is a short month full of love, red hearts (and red trucks), and… icy winter driving.
Here’s a checklist chock-full of love and reminders from the Nussbaum Safety Department.
Coming Soon: Improved Driver Scorecard
In a few short weeks, an updated and improved driver scorecard will be released. Director of HR & Safety, Rick Schmidt, mentions on the update, “We hope this is a benefit to the drivers. Check the updates that are going out in the InfoCenter and on CarriersEdge.”
The update will be released on March 1.
Winter and Chains
Is there anything more happily adjoined with February than winter weather and chains? Some may say it’s chocolate and love, but in the transportation industry, we know the real answer is winter weather and chains.
Safety Manager Mitch Davis slides in with a reminder, “We’ve had a number of winch outs and incorrect chain issues recently. Take time to review the Winter and Chains programs in CarriersEdge.”
