John Peck
John Peck is one of our second shift techs (his schedule is Tuesday-Friday 2:30 pm – midnight). He’s one of our guys that has been heavily involved with the Mirror Eye systems – getting them installed, learning the troubleshooting and tweaking things for drivers’ specific needs, etc. That being said, most of the work and training has happened onsite during regular first-shift hours. John has come in multiple times now during what would normally be his time off to learn all of it and assist whenever needed. He’s been incredibly flexible with his schedule and is always up for coming in whenever he is asked to do so. Beyond all of the Mirror Eye system, yesterday he was asked to assist at a local high school career day to help present Nussbaum’s sponsorship programs for diesel techs. He went through the program himself and gave a presentation, again on his off time. He worked Tuesday until Midnight and was back here at 0700 Wednesday to go give this presentation. He is always so happy to do these things and basically does everything asked of him with a smile on his face. -Billie Joe Nussbaum
