“I would like to nominate DM: Roger Thomas for “Owning it” & staying “Purpose Driven” every day.
What makes Roger a little different from others is he is always willing to take the extra time to see difficult situations through. He goes the extra mile to stand behind his drivers (all drivers for that matter, I would believe). Countless times Roger has stayed well past his scheduled time to help figure a situation out and get it resolved to the best of his ability. Whether it was a load, breakdown, or just to get a driver home. Many times I’ll receive a text about detention time approval or time off approval, etc. while on my home time.
One time, a particular situation that stands out is when Nussbaum phones were having issues AND it was close to the end of the day. Roger, took matters into his own hands and contacted me through his personal cell. Mind you, this was well into the evening hours before the situation was resolved. That’s going above & beyond any DM I have ever had in the 20+ yrs of driving. I am glad and proud to call him my DM. Thank you Roger Thomas for all you do.”
