During March 20-22, Nussbaum traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend Truckload 2022, the annual Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) conference. One of the event’s highlights is the presentation of the annual Best Fleets to Drive For awards from the TCA and CarriersEdge, which recognizes the top carriers in our industry. Nussbaum received the Best Overall Small Carrier award in 2019 and the Best Overall Large Carrier award in 2020 and 2021.
This year, TCA and CarriersEdge expanded the program to include a new “Hall of Fame” category, in addition to the Top 20 Best Fleets.
“The Hall of Fame recognizes fleets demonstrating exceptional performance year after year,” says Jane Jazrawy, CEO of CarriersEdge. “The inaugural entrants have continued to raise the bar for years, and their achievements demonstrate an enviable level of excellence.” To enter the Hall of Fame, fleets must achieve a Top 20 award for ten or seven years with one Best Overall award. Once in the Hall of Fame, fleets no longer compete in the Top 20 category for the Best Overall Large and Small Carrier awards.
At the conference, Nussbaum was officially inducted to the Hall of Fame, along with seven other carriers:
- Bison Transport, Inc.
- Boyle Transportation
- Central Oregon Truck Company, Inc.
- FTC. Transportation, Inc.
- Grand Island Express
- Halvor Lines, Inc.
- Prime, Inc.
Challenger Motor Freight received the Best Overall Large Carrier award, and Garner Trucking received the Best Overall Small Carrier award. Congratulations to these fleets for their industry leadership and commitment to providing an exceptional workplace experience!
To each of our amazing employee owners – we would not be here without you. You are purpose driven, and it shows. You choose to own the moment, and it makes a difference. It may seem insignificant in the moment, but as we each take personal ownership of our work in the day-to-day mundane tasks, it pays off. Together, we’ve built an unstoppable culture that other carriers in our industry look up to. Guided by our vision and core values, may we continue to honor God as stewards of His business!
