“I’d like to nominate Brenda Carr for an OWNit Moment. Recently, we had a large customer cancel 18 deliveries to their locations. The cancellation call occurred at 5pm when most of Operations was out of the office and home. Brenda took the initiative to stay late into the evening to make sure that everything was taken care of – this required a tremendous amount of coordinating: directing loads to drop lots, communicating with drivers and day-time operations personnel. Her actions created a much smoother day the following day. Brenda’s actions epitomized going the extra mile and owning it!” – Seth Jacowski
