Announcing Our 2026 Companywide Goals
Have you ever tried to explore a city without a map? Most likely, it didn’t end well. In the same way, a company without direction can easily drift. So if you’ve sensed the growing energy around Nussbaum, it’s because this year, we’ve charted a big course forward.
Across the country, companies are tightening, scrambling, or simply trying to survive. But at Nussbaum, we are choosing to focus on what we can control. We are choosing growth, excellence, and engagement and setting goals that will be our guide toward success.
This year we launched 2026 companywide goals. Many teams have already begun the work, and now the entire company can see the bigger picture of where we are heading.
Our goals revolve around three pillars that define our direction:
1. Grow and Diversify Revenue Streams
2. Drive Operational Excellence
3. Engaged Drivers at Full Capacity

We don’t want this to be just a poster on the wall but a practical target! To give you an idea of how teams are turning these goals turn into realities, below are department applications.
How Departments Are Turning Goals Into Impact
Operations Fleet Planners
Fleet Planners are charging hard into Operational Excellence by raising revenue per day and boosting driver engagement. Each month, they are sharing detailed financial and operational vitals with their fleets, breaking down what the numbers mean, and highlighting opportunities for wins. This creates space for weekly shoutouts and deeper driver engagement.
IT Monarch Team
The Monarch team is pushing boundaries to replace the TMW Trip Folder by the end of 2026. They are building a future where Driver Managers can open a trip in Integrity and immediately understand the full context. The team is already rolling out improvements and building a stronger system.
Sales Team
Sales is fueling the Grow and Diversify Revenue Streams pillar by going after dedicated proposals, rate increases, and new outreach opportunities. Their work directly strengthens financial resilience, improves customer partnerships, and creates more long-term revenue. When the sales team wins, the entire company wins.
And that is just the start. From Recruiting increasing accepted offers, to IT-Spark migrating critical systems, to Safety redefining driver recognition, to Analytics powering data-driven decisions, every department has strategic goals that roll up into our three companywide pillars.
Why This Matters
We are not just setting goals because it is a new year. We are setting goals because systems create success. As James Clear says:
“We do not rise to the level of our goals, we fall to the level of our systems.”
This year is about building systems that help us thrive, even in uncertain markets. It is about equipping teams, supporting drivers, expanding revenue, and strengthening the processes that make Nussbaum exceptional.
Let’s Move Forward Together
Now is the time to lean in. To celebrate the wins we see around us. To encourage new hires, support our drivers, and play our part in helping Nussbaum grow.
Every department. Every person. As fleet planner Mitch LaTulip famously quotes, “We roll as one.” We all matter in the success of these goals.
Let’s make 2026 a year of momentum.
Let’s thrive together.
