We were driving on I40 just west of Raleigh. I saw the trailer with “God is our refuge and strength” on it. I had to look up your company. Great way to spread His Word.
More than a Trucking Company || Eau Claire, WI
Just days ago, I said goodbye to my father-in-law, a man who spent over 30 years in law enforcement and more than 27 years as a sheriff in Montana. He was a pillar of strength, fairness, and love—a man respected by many, and cherished by even more. The loss has been deeply felt by all who knew him, especially by our family.
As we made the long drive home from his service, my heart was heavy with grief. We hit standstill traffic due to an accident. And then, as if perfectly placed in that very moment, a Nussbaum semi pulled up right beside us.
On the side of the trailer, bold and steady against a backdrop of dark skies and churning waters, were the words:
“Our Refuge and Strength – Psalm 46:1.”
I couldn’t hold back the tears. That message wasn’t just a verse—it was exactly what I needed. A quiet reminder that even in the chaos, in the heartbreak, in the pause—God is still near. He is our refuge. He is our strength.

The driver was very good. He did not take any unnecessary chances and was aware of the traffic around him.
