Doug Anderson is a new driver looking for a career change. He grew up in the Chicago suburbs and enjoys golfing when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories is taking his family to the Grand Canyon. Doug’s ideal road snack is beef jerky. He is excited to become a first-time grandpa later this year. Welcome to Nussbaum, Doug!

Daricus Mitchell
Domicile: Lorena, TX
Daricus Mitchell has been driving for 3 years, seeking a career with more flexibility and less overhead. He grew up in Eastern North Carolina and spends his time attending sporting events and going to the gym when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories is stopping at Mount Rushmore on his way to a delivery. Daricus’s ideal road snack is Australian licorice. He is also a freelance jazz musician. Johnathan Chaput
Domicile: Rochelle, IL
Johnathan Chaput has been driving for 10 months, drawn to the trucking lifestyle. He grew up in Johnsburg, Illinois, and enjoys hanging out with his dog when he’s not on the road. One of his favorite memories is driving fertilizer on the open road countryside by himself. Johnathan’s ideal road snack is Slim Jim’s. New Shop Hires
Matt Rutledge

We are excited that Matthew ‘Matt’ Rutledge has accepted an offer and will be starting with Nussbaum on 4/14/2025. Matt has worked at the Loves truck stop in Tuscola, IL, for the past 4 years. He has seen our equipment come through. Recently, he moved to this area and was looking for something closer to home, and he figured he would check out our openings. We are excited to have him and look forward to adding him to our team.
Jackson Casey
Diesel Tech
We are excited to share that Jackson ‘Jack’ Casey has accepted and will be starting with us on 4/14/2025. Jackson went through the ICC DPET program. Since then, he has worked at RIVIAN, as well as helping his dad maintain the equipment of a small trucking fleet of about 10 that his dad owns. We are excited to get him here at Nussbaum and look forward to adding him to our team.
