On top of all of that, the worry one has when a loved one is stranded on the side of the road rises rather than dwindles. That experience happened to me when I got a call that my wife had gotten a flat tire on her way to work in the predawn hours of January. I wasn’t able to help her, but a short phone call and a simple ask for assistance to my fellow driver, Anthony Bischler, and she was safe and in good hands. Despite having worked all night keeping the cargo flowing for one of our customers, Anthony immediately agreed to help, both saving an unexpected expense and helping get her to work in a timely manner without needing to wait for Roadside Assistance.
