“I had pulled into a Travel Plaza and was driving around for at least two hours, trying to find parking, with no luck. It was pretty packed, and there were only a couple of scattered spots. I finally found what I felt to be the best option, began a truck stop pull through, and pretty much got stuck. Stan came up and asked if I could use some help. I saw that he was wearing a Nussbaum jacket, so I accepted. After giving him my phone number, we began communicating via phone to get me into the spot. He advised reversing out of the spot and trying the maneuver again. I took his advice and was able to shimmy my way back into the spot. Mind you, he is doing all of this with his duffle bag on his shoulder–clearly on his way in to get cleaned up. After I was parked, he was walking in, and I saw him stop to help another flatbed driver get into a spot. He didn’t leave him until he was safely parked. Once that guy was parked, he came back to my truck to let me know where the facilities were and where I could get food if I needed it. Did I mention it was raining and 10pm while this was happening? Stan is a wonderful man and I’m forever grateful for his help tonight. I would like to nominate him for an OWNit Moment. He deserves it!!!” – Heather Warnick
