New Hire Drivers
Jessica Hori
Domicile: Chicago, IL
Jessica has been driving for 3 months. She got into trucking because she has family members who drive, so she rode with them as a kid. She was originally in the tech field and experienced her share of layoffs. Jessica wanted a more stable industry to work in, so she looked to trucking. She says its purposeful and meaningful work to keep the economy running. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and her favorite memory from the road was seeing the mountains in Montana. Jessica’s hobbies off the road include martial arts, aerial silks, and traveling abroad. Her ideal road snack is pita bread or chips and a unique flavored or spicy hummus. Jessica also shares that she lived in Japan, the UK, Turkey, and Croatia. She says she really likes to get out of her comfort zone and try something new.
Dream vacation: Mauritius
Joseph Prince
Domicile: Nussbaum
Joseph comes to Nussbaum as a new driver. He got into trucking because of family, and he grew up in Pontiac, Illinois. His ideal road snack is a candy bar, and his favorite memory from the road was driving to Tucson, Arizona, with his cousins. When off the road, Joseph enjoys watching and playing sports and gaming. Joseph is also proud to share that he lost 100 lbs. from age 19-21.
Dream vacation: Israel
Michael “Mike” Snyder
Domicile: Chicago, IL
Mike has just started his trucking career. He grew up in Amarillo, Texas, and he spends time with his 5-year-old twin boys when off the road. His ideal road snack is beef jerky. Mike’s favorite memory from the road was getting truck drivers to honk their horn as a kid while traveling with family.
Dream vacation: Tahiti
M. “Shane” Hudson
Domicile: Nussbaum
Shane comes to Nussbaum with 10 years of driving experience. His favorite memory from the road was driving through tunnels in the Appalachia on sunny days. Shane’s ideal road snack is a couple hard boiled eggs and Reese’s cups. Shane grew up in northeast Missouri and central Illinois. Off the road, he enjoys spending time with his son, volunteering with Boy Scouts, mountain biking, being in the outdoors, and playing card and board games.
Dream vacation: Beaches anywhere or a cabin in the timber.
Willis Roberson Jr.
Domicile: LaSalle, IL
Willis has 3 years of experience in the trucking industry. He got into trucking for the freedom and open roads. He grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and he spends time with his family when off the road. Willis’s ideal road snack is sunflower seeds and his favorite memory from the road was the first time he drove through Pennsylvania. Willis also shares that he has a great sense of humor.

Office Update
Garrie Atkins
Garrie Atkins will be coming back to help out our crew as needed. With the weather looking to turn, and the addition of the new shop, there was a need for PRN work. For those that don’t know Garrie, he was a face of Nussbaum for 45 years where he worked as a driver, DM and in facilities.
