Eric Jurich
Domicile: Nussbaum
Eric is a new driver. His father drove a truck, so Eric has always been interested. His favorite memories from the road were visiting different states. He grew up in Galva, Illinois, and his ideal road snack is beef jerky or sunflower seeds. Eric enjoys spending time with his family and boating in the summer when off the road. He also shares that he is retired from the Army, and he loves to travel and experience new things.
Dream vacation: Caribbean
Benjamin “Ben” Rasch
Domicile: Nussbaum
Ben just started trucking after driving for FedEx for 4 years. He grew up in Bloomington, Illinois, and he loves photography. He plans to take his camera on the road with him! Ben’s favorite road snack is Combos and a Mountain Dew. He shares that he is always friendly and would like to meet anyone that would care to meet him! For Ben’s favorite memory from the road, he shares this: “I loved delivery driving during COVID. Everyone was so grateful that we were still out delivering, and it made me feel like I was an essential part of the economy.”

Kirk Andrews
Domicile: Nussbaum
Kirk comes to Nussbaum as a new driver after a former colleague got him into trucking. Kirk grew up in Granite City, Illinois, and he enjoys spending time with family when off the road. His ideal road snack is sunflower seeds, and his favorite memory from the road was vacationing with his family while growing up. Kirk also shares that he loves God, his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loves his pets and their new kitten. He also loves helping people that are in need and enjoying life!
Dream vacation: Someplace peaceful that showcases God’s beautiful creation.
Matthew “Matt” Lutzka
Domicile: Channahon, IL
Matt comes to Nussbaum with 15 years of trucking experience. He grew up in Orland Hills, Illinois, and he enjoys spending time with family and golfing sometimes when off the road. Matt got into trucking because he liked trucks growing up. He says it was not his initial career, but everyone needs a secondary plan in life! His ideal road snack is coffee and a bagel, and his favorite memory from the road was seeing the great scenery out west and driving in Canada. Matt also shares that he just retired from the Army, and he and his family love to travel; they lived in Germany for 3 years. Matt shares that he has done 2 half marathons and would like to do a full marathon in October of 2025.
Dream vacation: Scandinavian countries
Charles “Chuck” Tisdale II
Domicile: GE Lot, TX
Chuck has over 3 years of experience in the trucking industry. He originally got into trucking because he needed to change his job. Chuck grew up in Dallas, Texas, and he spends time running his lawn service when off the road. His favorite road snack is popcorn, and he also shares that he enjoys riding his motorcycle.

Jeb Uphoff
We’re thankful to announce we have filled our open CAC position! Jeb Uphoff will be starting with us on Monday, 11/18. If the last name sounds familiar, it could be because he is Waite’s brother. While this will be his first trucking job, Jeb has some solid people-experience, including time spent at St. Francis as well as the legendary Chick Fil A. Please look for Jeb and give him the usual, warm, Nussbaum welcome!
