Joshua has been trucking for 6 months now and he got into it because he has a few uncles in the trucking industry. Joshua grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. Off the road, you might find him cruising around on his bikes and spending time with family. His ideal road snack is beef jerky. Joshua’s favorite memories from the road are watching beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Crepin “Eric” Kawessa
Domicile: Columbus, OH
Eric got into trucking because he loves to drive. He has been driving now for 3 years. His favorite memory from the road is seeing the Utah mountains, and his favorite road snack is tacos. Eric grew up in West Africa, and he enjoys working out and spending time with family when off the road.

Robert Compton
Domicile: Nussbaum
Rob has been driving for 29 years. He got into trucking because his father drove for 30 years. Rob enjoys camping and spending time with his grandchildren when off the road. He grew up in Lexington, Illinois. His favorite memories from the road were seeing the Northern Lights in Wyoming at night. Rob’s favorite road snack is Starburst minis unwrapped – flavored or sours.

Tylar Thompson
Tylar Thompson has reached out and expressed interest in making the switch from a Fleet Planner to a Regional Planner this September and we think he will be a great fit for that.
New Office Hire
Shelby McBurney
We are excited to share that Shelby McBurney has accepted the position for CAC and will be starting with Nussbaum on 7/29/2024. Shelby has known about Nussbaum since she was little with some family driving for us in the LTL days, as well as knowing many of you that currently work here. She has worked the last 6 years in Customer Service type positions including at Walt Disney in Florida and Rivian here in town. We look forward to adding her to our team!
