Tillie Nussbaum, wife of Alden Nussbaum and mother of Brent Nussbaum, had a passion and a gift for cooking. She grew up in a home surrounded by freshly cooked meals, so when the time came, she successfully carried this tradition with her when she married Alden and they had children. Tillie spent time cooking and baking for her own family, as well as for others, hosting dinners for the business managers and luncheons for the office ladies. She even began hosting classes in her own home to teach others how to make homemade rolls.
As time went on, Tillie had many recipes and recipe books filling her kitchen, and she wanted to bring the most special ones together to one place. And so, the Tillie & Friends Cookbook was put together. Tillie and her family spent many hours assembling her favorite recipes and after some time, began pulling in other recipes provided by friends and family.
The cookbook was originally compiled for the first time in 1990. This year, we are bringing back the carefully crafted book, retyped and reformatted. The book can be purchased from our company store, located here:
